My Poetical Slump

I'm in one of my poetical slumps
Am poetically down in the dumps
This one's unending
There's no rhyme a-pending
It has me frustratingly stumped

I'm in need of a rhyme with some charm
For a charmed rhyme I'd give my right arm
But with no rhyme forthcoming
It's completely benumbing
I'm benumbed and very alarmed

I'll stay hopeful, but hopeful with doubt
I won't sit around with a pout
Though if I'm to be timeless
I can't remain rhyme-less
I hope I can rhyme this thing out

Hee hee hee! I just love this limerickal nothingness Stan! No way will you never have anything to amuse us with. (I have been away from Poetbay for a while, what a delight to see one of your rhymes to greet my return. ) You are a winner. Great little piece of "nothingness," with which we can all identify. You have nothing to worry about though...

Within a week some political jerk will do something to get our ire up and you'll be back on the sunny side of Rhyme Road.
I got confidence in you!

I'm having one of these also Stan. You manage far better than I and your rhyme is definitely full of charm.

When you have nothing to write , even then , Stan , you find something to say , after all , there is no such thing as nothing.

Oh I know this feeling all too well. I try not to worry too much, if doesn't come to me right away I think it's not meant to be written yet... if that makes sense.... and I often don't! ;-)
