from many years ago...
today i direct it to our elders and so called betters

Moon

If I had the moon
And you wanted it
I would give it to you freely.

If you had the moon
You would steal away
To a corner and dissect it
Into the parts that serve you...
You would take them all
Then offer me nothing of value
Laughing at me.

If my rage was under your feet
You would be dancing on nails.

I wonder how many more generations will suffer the plague of greed? Here is some curare for those nails although I think screws have proven to work better.
This is a definite keeper.
