Words

Those of us who grammatically abuse
Our sentences with word misuse
Should never ever dabble
In Crosswords or in Scrabble

To prevent incorrect perspective
Choice of words must be selective
They're our tools for communication
In written and verbal conversation

When treating language with respect
You'll more properly connect
With friends or foes or family
Instead of relating fragmentarily

Before we risk our lives in war
We need words to know the score
With lack of words, we'll all be drones
Living out our lives alone

Language/ words are interesting in that they must be backwards compatible and alive or they work. English, being one of the most adaptive and inclusive of all languages is probably about the most abused as well. Dat's what me fodder learned me :-)
