Lill , a woman of age I met , this is based upon a story she shared with me. More over time to come. The story dates back to the 1920's/ 30's. Thankfully times have changed greatly & yes fore the better!

LILL HER STORY

Lill sat in the pue ,

In front were three

Chairs ,

As the church feild ,

With the great and good ,

Three young woman were ,

Led in , sat in the chairs ,

The great and the good staid ,

At the young woman , one with a baby ,

The vicker a man of God ,

Look with disgust at the three seated on the chairs ,

The vicker , the man of God , greeted the congregation ,

He prechde words of love and compashan ,

He ask the congregation to sing the chosen hymes ,

The three young woman rose too to sing ,

All the people sang , listen to the sermon on love and forgiveness ,

The three young woman were escorted out ,

Eyes followed them as they walked out ,

At the end of the service the congrgation left ,

The three young woman fore a few Sundays past,

Of being fallen woman , disgraced , sat in front fore all to see ,

Fore Lill , enough , this was not Christianity ,

God , her God was not hear ,

Lill left , never to return , she walked out on the church ,

But not her God ,

Lill , met her God out side , with his son Jesus ,

They left side by side arm in arm.

Religen , all religen , organised religen that is. Was is a politercal form of control of the mases. The Roman emprer Constean was arubeerly the 1st to see the politercal power of a state religen. When he desided to make Chrisanity the religen of the Roman empier , when he saw the willingnes of Christans to die in the colersem in Rome. Many politercal of course have since folwed the marter road to power to contol the mases. The English pepole and I meen the English hear. Began thear freeing them selfs rom the control og the Church in the 1300's , when the black death landid hear from Italy. About 2/3 of the populastan died , when the English witnest that the clergy were not saved by god , they began to questan the chuerch. it took a long time but the freeing of the english was achgeved , so the likes of Lill , were abull to say what they thort , and acked on what she know to be right. I almost forgot. A king of the pepoles who evencherly invade the dieing Roman Empier , saw the dangers of spilts with in the then Christan chuerch. he orderdc that chuerches were to be built close to each other so that the serverses of the 2 chuches couild be herd and the 2 congenashans mixt before and affter the service . So inshuring thear was no spilts no truyblkes that we are all awear of of now. The above can be sade about just about all religens and the state. Kings saw them selfs as being appointed by god , so the mases exsepted that . Why in England King chiles was exacuted so the maces coukd see the King was but a man. Same in France during it's revolsan and of course Rusher.
Lioll was is an exsampole of just one who was safe secure with her belive in her God , bless you , Lill.

I wonder when the church became a fascist state, or was it always such?

A good and simple story that says everything that needs to be said, Ken.
