While at work , a mind numbing experience. When Si man & Garfunkel 's came on the radio. The song got me too thinking , well better than thinking of the job! Well the folwing poem is the result.

I WILL LAY ME DOWN

I will lay me down ,

As like a bridge ,

Spanning the troubled ,

Walters of life ,

So thee can reach ,

The other side ,

In safety ,

All I ask of thee ,

My dear friend ,

Is that you ,

DON'T STAND ON ME BLEEDING FINGERS!

Well Ken, if in order for me to get to the other side I had
to step on your bleeding fingers, I know, as the good friend
you are, you would handle the ensuing pain gracefully...all
for a good friend... but I promise you, I'd take my shoes off

xxx Stan
