If you have not seen the film '' Buddha Collapsed In shame '' , please do. It was made in Afghanistan. The best films do not get the '' Oscars '' . This film , makes those that do , seem rather tame.Of little consequence , of no importance .


BAKHTAY

Bakhtay , just wonted to goo to school ,

Bakhtay wonted learn new jokes ,

Bakhtay wonted to Learn to read ,

Bakhtay wonted to read storeys ,

Bakhtay , did not like war games ,

Bakhtay , managed to bye a note book ,

Bakhtay could not bye a pencil , nor sharpener , nor a rubber ,

Eraser

Bakhtay, took her mothers lipstick to use at the school,

Bakhtay did not even know wear the school was ,

Bakhtay , set out to find the school ,

Bakhtay found a school '' this is a BOYS school '' ,

Bakhtay was told '' go a cross the river , girls school their ,

Bakhtay trudged over the river found the girls school ,

Bakhtay not welcomed there ,

Bakhtay ignored , over looked , never noticed ,

Bakhtay was just six years of age ,

Bakhtay did not like war game's ,

Bakhtay , loved to smile ,

Bakhtay , just needed , wonted to laugh ,

Bakhtay , did not like war games ,

Bakhtay , sadly no one that bothered ,

Bakhtay, their are those who care .

I totally agree, the best films do not get the 'oscars' . This movie was one of the most touching movies I have ever seen. A lot of student are not aware of the valuable times they spend in school. A lot of people don't know the comfort they have. It is hard to find someone who really treasure books. Both the movie and your poem made me realize this.
