hm, i wrote this on a guy i know. it really helped him out, which was good :)

richard.

I can't feel my heartbeat, as the rain has begun.
Drink myself senseless so the pain doesn't come.
Surely im not happy, I can't say it's fun.
But there's nothing as miserable as when the rain has begun.

I can't hear the whispering, the rainfall is loud.
Drink myself stupid, and drink myself proud.
Followed by the rainfall, the great thunder cloud.
That hangs over me always, with the rainfall so loud.

The sea is a-swaying; the rain makes it rise,
Drinking away as the tears fill the skies,
I know that im foolish, i know it's not wise,
But all sound is fading; all that's heard are my cries.

The sun will not glisten, the moon will not show.
The rain still is pouring, and won't stop, I know.
I try to forget it, to keep my voice low.
but im gripping the bottle, and I won't let it go.
