American
Ok the side walk for the benefit of our American cousins ,
He sat in a chair , rod in hand , line out hooked baited ,
Dangling in the gutter , the rain water flowing bye ,
Like a stream ,
Pile of fish in basket beside him ,
The water flowed bye ,
A man passing bye stopped to look ,
'' See the fish are biting , mate '' ,
'' Aye '' ,
''How many have you cult so far to day?'' ,
Asked the passing man ,
''Let's see ''
'' let me think '' ,
Replied the fishing man ,
'' Your the twentieth '' ,
Then the passing man then noticed ,
Bags with '' wet fish'' , advertised ,
In a trash bin close bye ,
Litter bin , as we call it ,
The passing man had took the bate ,
Hooked , the fishing man reeled him in ,
The Dyslexic Poet
