Decibels

Vu Vu Voom
Will you please come stand
Next to me
As I blow this horn
For ninety minutes or so
To avoid watching some game
Or something.

Come on everybody
Let us drone.

FIFA says you can buy them.
So we can have a tournament
That considers South African culture.

Ahem....

NO WONDER YOU ARE ALL FECKING DEAF DOWN THERE...

I do not want reminicsent noises
Give me chanting do...
Let me hear music
From the people

The vuvuzela for some is mighty fine but for me watching on telly I would stick them all where the sun dont shine....
As you say gimme songs, bands and community music, not the monotonous drone that in African villages is used to scare off maruding baboons.
Sid.

lol I watched the US-UK match; but it does test one's commitment to cultural relativism...

It's like watching/listening to football from a beehive, call me old fashioned, but I like to hear the chanting, wtf ref! You got to be kidding! etc. Just have to make my own noise whilst watching the games then.
