I Would Love To

I would love to
But I do not want to.
It is not you
It's me.

I am full of the life
You want to do
Offering nothing new
For me to see.

I know I should
Not jade you.
So I will parade you
To the corner where
I can wave you
Far away to be free.

C'est la vie.

Be happy with my selfish love
That sets you so dramatically
And beautifully unable to whisper
Delightfully
Of things that cannot be.

I would love you
And do...
Easily.
