The Cautious Love
Tears,I literally forgot what
It was like to cry
I promised myself
Never to shed them again
But, looking at his tender face
Into his eyes full of love
Something shattered inside me
And I felt those salty caresses on my cheeks
What am I doing to him?
He deserves much better
Yet, needy I am of him
Insecure, I feel without him
Is it what they call
The Cautious Love?
Scared I am to take this risk
But risking nothing is
Risking even more.
