flat surfaces...pfftt!

Table

This fine table arrived as a gift.
Occasional and of good lines.
But of course it had space...
And it needed a place.

So I circled it a while
To get its dimensions.
Set it in my eye to see
Where it would fit
And began to fill it.

I think my work is done.
The surface may be considered
Cluttered... I say it is as a slice of
Bread deliciously buttered...
And besides I wont notice
The dust so much.

I'm sure, in the beginning, there were no flat surfaces. Were they a 7th day after thought or was their advent the 6th day.
Dust, on the other hand, I presume was created in the same grandiose gesture as mosquitoes.
