dinner with carolina aged two years and three months
She is strapped into her chair
And from there cannot throw to reach me...
I beg myself not to giggle.
In an instant the game begins...
We mirror each other reflectively
To begin with but then it becomes
This simple delightful thing of
Trusting the smiling eyes.
I'm lost again
In Carolinas world.
Do not disturb us...
She will become unsafe
Sound wise the instant
She is denied her way...
She is just a copy cat-
And must learn we scream unheard
One day.
She is safe!
We are strapped all together
And smiling.
