Stretching the Truth
Why do people stretch the truth
When lying would suffice
It doesn't require a Scotland Yard sleuth
To know, a lie is more precise
When lies are too far fetched
With no perceived credibility
Like a rubber band over stretched
There's no believable pliability
If the aim is pure deception
A straight lie should suffice
Stretching truth deserves rejection
Lying, though regrettable, sneaky's more less nice
