Little Toys

Cars and trains
And boats and planes
Fossil rocks
Found in the rain

Crayfish, frogs
And plastic dogs
Lego blocks
And Lincoln Logs

Stones and sticks
And magic tricks
Broken trucks
We have to fix

I hate to grouse
but, that dead mouse
Why'd he bring it
In the house?

Chainsaw toys
Make too much noise
They're all the rage
With little boys.

Blessed are the little boys, who have a "normal" childhood. Another nice piece of work my friend.

night soul woman The PoetBay support member heart!
Catchy rhyming melody and a promising theatrical monologue;) without looking at the theater audience of course, until the last lines: "They're all the rage With little boys."

Thank you for sharing!

I'm betting you wouldn't have it any other way.
