Juxtaposition
See me bowing downSweat is pouring out
With revelations taunting me
Reflecting on my past
Ruminating fast
In the end of a crazy dream
How do you mend?
Screaming in the night
Crying in the light
Innately hurt and tight
Place it side by side
Remembrance of another time
Fix me soon so I don't die
Another sunrise is on nigh
Take these chains off
Unshackle my wounds
The beast within cries for release
The juxtaposition of reality
Staring back at me
Twisting, turning, permeating
A sacred chance at life again
Is my work ever done?
Let life take its course
Pull me under
I'm not afraid...
