Doors

Life is but a passageway

A passageway lined with doors

For certain two of those doors will be opened

The one we are born through

And the one we pass through when time is done

Some doors will lead to a void and others to an impasse

Some to a new path only to return to the point of origin

And a few, if found, will lead to a new horizon

But many doors for many reasons will remain closed

But like children we must explore

Explore with open heart

We should never fear what may lie beyond

We should only fear looking back

Looking back on a passageway

A passageway full of unopened doors!

It's amazing how doors change there allure when we alter our perception as one of trying to get in to there, to one of trying to get out of here. In the end it is what we do when we're not coming or going that is important, besides, as your favourite knows, there's always the window!
Fine writing Monsieur Rik. Merci!
