Politically Lipped
"Read my lips", had us all aghast
It was meaningless, for sure
Quoted from a time well passed
Just political manure
Their lips move and sound escapes
Into the ears of listeners
Too often it's just sour grapes
From partisan politician-ers
Verity is rarely heard
From zealot lips political
With scrutiny, their every word
Proves them hypocritical
