who the devil is she?
She appears before me every day
On her way I know not where.
She is glimpsed from every window
From which I choose to stare.
She has a purposeful stride and
Is never still...always moving along until
Yesterday as she approached a corner
She looked back at me smiled with her eyes.
Then tonight as I left my building
She held the door for me as she entered.
I quite like the look of her but I wish
I knew her name and someone that
I know knows her.

The Woman
There is this unknown to me woman. She appears before me every day
On her way I know not where.
She is glimpsed from every window
From which I choose to stare.
She has a purposeful stride and
Is never still...always moving along until
Yesterday as she approached a corner
She looked back at me smiled with her eyes.
Then tonight as I left my building
She held the door for me as she entered.
I quite like the look of her but I wish
I knew her name and someone that
I know knows her.
