"My Country 'Tis Of Thee"
Someone explain to me kindly
Why we've accepted blindly
The phrase 'tis of thee
What its' meaning may be
I was given this one clue
It possibly means "It is of you"
But forget about a lyric in that lieu
Imagine singing 'My country it is of you'
So forever it will be
"My country 'tis of thee"
For 'tis of thee', no rearrangin'
Without a doubt, there'll be no changin'
