Loomed Moon

Your light tonight is hurtful
Looming moon.
No matter how you face us
We live still with darkness
Punctured haphazardly with lights
Of untruth disappointing intrinsically.

I have become so jaded moon...
Let me come back in.

Hi Jenks...anyone who writes as well as you do, should not
ever feel jaded

Moonlight seems to be like that, doesn't it? Unlike the flamboyant sun, the moon makes us pensive and introspective, perhaps because its light is only a reflection of the sun's.

Enjoyed your moon-verses very much.
