Trees Are Like Rivers
Trees are like riversThat flow through the sky
Their branches meander to streams
Their flood plains are the grey clouds that fly
Making pictures to colour my dreams
Trees are constructions of natural design
They stand firm with counter-weight height
Their roots grip together to keep them in line
Like some biological fight
