THE TRAM

The tram stops

A disembodied

Voice calls

From the drivers cab

Room fore

One up top

Offer the fair

'' No need chum ''

'' All taken care off ''

The disembodied voice says

With a grin or is it a smile?

Not that it maters at all

All those onboard

All quiet , alone

In their thoughts

The tram starts off

No sounds could be heard

Just the tram rolling a long the track

No one spoke

No one would listen anyway

No one listened before so why start listening now

The tram driver announces

Right you are

You have arrived at your terminus

All on board disembark

Their journeys ended

You don't say where this tram is going, Ken, but I think that I know.
