where are the meniscuses?

Splosh!

With long strung limbs
Bidden here or there
She finds fingers and toes
Quite bare and sadly naked and plain.

The world is now as an unloved woman
Carrying a full bowl of water.

Do we splish or splash?

Most likely, both, but, since we are unloved, no one will help us to mop up.
