DEAF EARS THE DEATH OF A PERFOMER

The sound was clear

The song so sweet

Yet none heard

No one was bothered

To listen

The signer died in despair

Laid in the gutter and died

No one noticed of course

The death of the street performer

Steppe over walked around

No cared a dame fore the

The now dead singer

We ignore what we fear, and not least that we could have been, still might be, just as he had our life taken just one different turn, stumbled down one different path. His last song is the one you have made.
