Smile Again
Smile AgainUncover the sun,
stop the rain,
smile away the clouds,
sing away the pain,
pick a pretty wildflower,
place it in your hair,
breathe the sweet fragrance
spreading through the air.
New days dawn,
dreams come true,
life goes on
and love will too.
So dry your eyes,
lift your head,
look around you
and smile again!
See the sun shine
and the rainbow?
Hug away the hurt,
kiss away the blow,
pick a handsome lover,
show him that you care
and let him smell the fragrance
from the flower in your hair.
Watch the sun set
below the horizon.
Please don't be upset!
Do you want affection?
Do you want someone
who can buy you everything,
or do you want a lot of me
and a little, gold ring?
New days dawn,
dreams do come true,
life goes on
and so can you.
So dry your eyes,
lift your head,
look around you
and live again!
Behold the moon
beneath the stars;
laugh away the wound,
love away the scars,
pick me as your lover,
I'll show you that I care—
just let me smell the fragrance
from the flower in your hair.
