I RANG YOUR DOOR BELL

I rang your door bell

Got no response

I lifted the door knocker

Knocked three times

Three times rat atat tat

The same response

Same as the bell

Silence

Nothing sturde with in

The other side of the door

Of the door stumblingly

Remained silent

I bent down

Lifted the letterbox

I Calder through the letterbox

In to hallway

'' Any one in? ''

Same response as the doorbell

And knocker

Nothing , total silence

No one nothing sturde with in

At a guess you were not in

So I turned around

And made my way home

To find you banging

The woodworm out of my front door!

This made me smile, a bit like trying to telephone someone only to find it's engaged and they are trying to phone you, spooky. Great minds think alike.
