Storm Surge
A thousand years of old tv shows, books and dreams
Awash in seas of days and eyes I never see
just watch the moments build momentum,
The night turns to reach for you;
each embrace grows limbs of light
in trees of evergreen and ancient souls,
You know me, you know the book I mean
to read, the pages touching visions
how far we have come to love,
You are and I am
alive to feel the bursting clouds and swelling skies
open to accept the title and verses written wise,
So I kiss the radiant mantle of your brow
bow to Heavens will, holding you dear we fly,
Over the wailing world, drifting lifeboats high beams
Just watch the moments build momentum
Awash in seas of days and eyes I never see
A thousand years of old tv shows, books and dreams. . .
