IT IS SAID

It is said we don't know what we have

Till one day its no longer there

True wisdom is to be wise afore the event

I don't think much of our "Information Age" . . . information isn't necessarily knowledge, knowledge often isn't wisdom. In the spirit of your last line, I think wisdom is what you know is true despite the event(s).

Valuing what and who we are and the world we live in at the moment is a challenge I seldom am able to overcome completely. Time and the turbulent noise of human activity get so in the way. You're right Ken Wisdom is seeing valuing and enjoying those things in perspective before they disappear as all things do naturally.
