Stranglehold
How do I remain so calm
a wonder
In the face of such a face
When I choose another turn
About who now not to face,
I was born into emotional rage
Poverty a near neighbor never loved
Could be bent from all what that was
Only now it happens to be
Life has been one long stranglehold,
Go on squeeze hard if you must
I've had worse,
Hate me, Love me as you will
Just a reminder before the big bow
It takes everything one has to break free
And the stranglehold just suffocates on itself
Nothing left to squeeze...
