Picturing Heaven's Lines
tonight I search for wordsthe perfect ones with which to say
it all sounds like heaven a picture in lines
I would build a fire, create a world for your eyes
that see so deeply into and beyond the usual lies
and misshapen acts of lost, stumbling souls,
another day to learn how to write the world for you
are alive quick as the light flashing vision of mind
there is so much to describe like hearing the silence sing,
tonight I dream of the words
like hearing one perfect voice
speech of the infinite ways,
it is almost here, ( I can hear you )
saying prayers like poems lost
only to be found by the beautiful and the blind
like a better world impossible to describe,
It all sounds like Heaven
When I picture the lines . . .
