To Grace
In the moment and the movement
(dearer than the earthly things once known)
Thoughts have grown deeper than the world without
Awash in everything taken over and renamed,
I have felt the heavenly aspect touching me with your hand
Seeing through the all surrounding blind now with miracle eyes,
Grace has come to supplant those backward rows of bad dreams aslant
Our souls kneel to fly in a high rejoicing song of thankful prayer,
These are the words of confirmation and aspiration of us to be;
(dearer than earthly things once known)
In the movement of a moment
The spirit quickens to . . .

The spirit quickens to such celestial soundsIn the moment and the movement
