A Summer Too Lovely

If a summer ever came too lovely to bear
Where the trees bore leaves to wear
Like the heavens dancing madcap light
With shining rivers weaving dream paths through
A just awoken prescient night,
Then should I die from joy a peaceful death
To know that nothing worth this life is left
Feel the vipers nest of tangled knots dissolve
As though some entirely new life form set free
To fly,
There are thoughts in the night that day will never hear
Places buried so far from sight they may never be seen
Lives that were lived without hope for a prayer to have been
If a summer ever came too lovely to bear...

The read went well! Too well to bear. Oh I would love to have a summer like this.
And I suspect I would die of bliss. Thank you for this enticing image.
