Moonlight

When first you see the moon
Hanging so low
You cast your eyes the other way
Pretending you don't know

But through the thought you try to bury
In your mind so deep
Grows a doubtful fire burning bright
Within no Angels reach

It dances on the edge of light
Around everything that's true
It touches and it tries to fight
Everything that's you

Wake up, look up, look around
Listen to what you see
The moon she's blazing out the light
For you and for me

So when the moon is hanging low
When darkness is the seed
Keep it's light inside, to guide the way
It's light is all you need
