A not so magnificent obsession.
Runs nipping at my heels
Always eating yet never full
So hungry for what it does not have
What's the matter little shadow
That you seek to fill your emptiness with me?
My apologies ravenous shadow
If all I am is the same old meal to eat
Repetition is Hell to rehash
Just desserts?
And when I disappear, at last
I guess you may have all Heaven for dinner
Maybe that will fill my little shadow...
