Alice Dresses Light

Once Alice wore a dress of Light adorned with living trees
Her tresses woven waterfalls-; kisses of Summer was her laughter
Long after when they looked for her everywhere she could not be
Grown rather tall at the moment hands spreading finger branches
Held heavens shy secrets in a splendid glow of basket leaf deep as name
No one could know where the footsteps fall with an echoing lyrical brush
As though a voice within your inner ear whispering softly as the hush of Night
Adorned with seas of living trees Alice wore a dress of Light
Hemmed by waves of paperwhite. . .

You've painted a very vivid and beautiful picture . . . still deep in winter here but this recalls how the sun rises behind the pine trees, filling them with "woven waterfalls" of light.
