*of long ago
It was in the once and only then
Of how the air felt long ago
all was quite and still always so,
you were lighter than the paper white
tomorrow wrote to sail the world through space
cradling us as though a boat of blue a drop of tear
we were so near we nearly flew away from where
what ever is of was and were the heavens sent a breath to stir
perfectly worded instruments the woodwinds blowing leaves were growing notes to sound
rejoicing celestial reveilles, sublime intrinsic harmonies, notes of holinessÂ
emotions both like and unlike the world which could promise yet not express
Everything now's becoming when
We may behold ourselves and lo
all is still and quite always so
of how the air felt long ago.
