Of Always is and never was.

Ghost Gardens Fading Fast

Ineffable fragrances breathe potent mixtures into the living air
Atomized tinctures of dreamy color paint the light with vibrant lives,
Utter freedom swims on flowery wings from island tree to island tree
Violet indigo archipelagos scattered bright clusters of pearling deeps,
Slaking their thousand heartbeats a minute thirsts on iridescent mornings
Hummingbirds sipping honey nectars from vellum cusps with serpentine antennae tongues,
Exist simply to please the laughing gods and angels
And the dead who live in Heaven
Who may wander as they wish,

From whence came the thick usurper?
Forever haunted by Ghost Gardens fading fast....
