I VOW TO THEE MY COUNTRY

I vow to thee my country of my birth

That I will specked out of thy wrongs

Committed in thy name

To specked out against in words

Of the suffering so many are suffering

In thy name

Of the destitution , the jobless

To write of those who are ill

Not fit for work

Denied benefits , to go hungry

Go with out heat , as many did

For the government has decided

They are luxury

During the winter , just gone

No work , no jobs

Those who do have jobs , wages remain the same

Same as years ago in true worth

Slowly approaching , if not already living in a neo fascist state

I vow to thee my country , with my words will

Fight those who have changed you for the worse

I haven't sat down and gone through the things we mentioned in message yet, but I just want to say that I love those final two lines. I see a light in the darkness as this comes to a close, a spark of hope, of strength. I see passion and a willingness to fight instead of looking away.
