most papers = 40% advertisements, 40% horror stories, 20% classifieds, 100% b.s.

at least that edition spared the readers the usual nonsense and gave them some scrap paper to boot.

I love this Ken, and it is certainly true that newspapers, many newspapers, have gone away, and more and more books are being published only as e-books . . . more and more the written word is becoming intangible, no longer something we can hold in our hand, and we are losing the experience of actually touching beauty and truth.
