WORDS

Words are as powerful as the wind

Yet as gentle as a breeze , kiss , cares

Hug , cuddle

Threaten

Give hope

Words course the reader , the listener

To think

Motivate , agitate , educate

Inform , misinform , confuse

Words can inform , fall in love and what not

Words can entertain , amuse , educate

Words can course people to giggle , laugh

Wet your pants

Words can curse fear , merriment

Free , imprison

Say what is in and on the mind

Words are some times all we have left

Words are all of this and more besides

And so much more

So use them well , my friends

Words indeed, hold the power of life and death, in terms of the soul (in my opinion). You can hurt a body with a weapon, but crush a spirit with words. You can heal a body with medicine, but it is words (with a little help from time) which mend the soul. A nice write.

Pictures can't paint a thousand words - just one picture.

Words, however can paint a thousand pictures.

So true and such great advice. :) Thanks for the "wet your pants" thing... It gave me a giggle. ;)

I like how you capture the diversity of words, and the power that they can have over people.

One question, though, was second line supposed to be "gentle"?
