One Unknown
As the veil lowers seeming faraway
A scent of flowers, violet is the day,
Someone waits to read you couplets of rain
Losing place in the face of too much all
Lie down in order to avoid the fall
Time to uncover nothing to explain
Walk alone into the deeper shallows
Stars are burning flowers
Shedding petals of light they shine
As though signalling right divine
Violet the veil lowers
One unknown is calling from the shadows.
