Declaration of Faith – Mother's Day 2013
I believe in You,
Who became my skin,
Who feels my abraisons
On Your own,
My gambollings
On Your eternal childishness.
I see myself in You,
Who do not shy pain from Your tormentors,
The efforts of my opponents to bend me.
God, when you chose to become neighbor
You chose me to become co-creator
Beyond time and space.
I believe in Your model, God,
To create woman and man in one
Just as You are One.
I believe in Your earth, God,
As the home for what my feet carry,
In the infinity of the universe,
Which still does not hold You.
I believe in Your gift,
Thinking ability called,
With limits known to You alone,
In Your patience
At my misusing it.
God, I believe,
That Your arms lack color,
When they embrace indiscriminately,
That my heart is as red as Yours,
Although not as boundless.
God, I believe,
That the wild strawberry flower among the greens
Will bear fruit
Just as the stars of the night bear witness
Of eternal light in eternal darkness.
I believe in You, God,
Who never stop surprising me,
Who defy my limitation,
Who defeats me by believing in me,
Who put the center of gravity in today's presence,
In You in gratitude for all Your yesterdays,
In Your promise of future incomprehensible care.
I believe in You, God,
Who became the skin of everything alive,
Who carry me in Your everlasting thought,
Who gives me birth thither You alone know.
