Deadly Presence
Slowly approaching each other
My own death and me.
The distance is full of respect
Still no hurry for me
Maybe we meet
Before midnight is here
Lurking around the corner
You could well be
Thirty years more
I will gladly take
If my clear mind
In a healty body resides
Will you see me
When all of me is in pain
I will see you
As a welcome friend
Not yet I see you coming
You alone know the hour
The truth of your living absence
Is deadly presence now
