Night, You Smiled...
I dreamed last night, you smiled at at meAs I picked up a book that you wrote as the pages turned into dust
There were pages about years where we were nothing but rain;
Then, kisses wet as flowers turning their nascent faces to an unholy sky
From where came these clothes we only thought we wore?
Something made them faraway in a cave in a dark hole while the lonely Night
Painted us like canvasses that once were whole oh so completely there
I dreamed of universes like heaven as they shone through your hair,
Has a light all it's own like a poem soft and secret veins of love she sings,
like you, and I dream, you smile at me...
