FREINDS COME AND GO

Friends , come and go

Some stay , fore a while

Then move on

We can but hope some

Will stick around

Tiss not the many we have

That we can count on

It's the few , times prove

Those that prevail, no matter what

Times prove who is true

Or truly just faking friendship

Some will you will trust

Telly them of your pain

Say '' you can trust me '' , '' I wont tell a sole! ''

Next thing you know your a joke all over town

Just maybe , one , just one , keeps stum

Your secret kepped safe , from flapping ears and loose tongs

Yes there are such friends , or just a friend , who you can trust

I hope that I have been a good friend , and that still I am

Too true, Ken, too true. Some people use friendship as tool to pry out intimacy then spread the word around to make themselves look better. A true confidante is rare a silent soul that listens and in doing so gives the friend a sounding board to give voice to their closest thoughts.
