boat in open ocean
A boat in open oceantossed by waves
and creating its own
they grow and spread
sometimes
and rock the other boats
they also shrink and melt
sometimes
into the ocean depths
some boats push harder
than others ever could
than others ever do
some waves are horrendous
absolutely terrifying
and they aim to capsize
some waves are massive
and seem terrifying
but they move me forward
you push me
you are terrifying
but
you do not aim to capsize
not all waves come
from other boats
some are created
by the moon
i wonder if the moon
has pushed you to me
or i to you
or are we pushing each other
together and apart
waving in the motion
that boundless blue
