SOME WILL GO THAT EXTRA MILE

Some will go THAT EXTRA MILE fore you

But there are a very few who a very few

Will go , will stay with you ALL THE WAY

A friend who stays when others have court the bus

Evaporates , when your lifes hots up

Seeks shelter when the rains comes , storms , rages all around

Lightning splits the trees , setting them a light

You feel all a lone , then , you open your eyes

To see your only friend , standing , and yes smiling

Then you walk side by side , till the sun shines again , birds sing

Your friend and you , has gone all the way with each , never counting , the miles

That's , friendship , mateship , that is!

It seems like my friends have generally peeled off onto their own roads and paths. I miss them. I'd like to think we'll be their for each when the time comes.
