Ghost Ship Sails

Somewhere wandering aimlessly amongst the frozen wastes
Where angels rain like radiation upon temporal shores
Errant signals crossing wire smoke and mirrors fumble in the dark
And cold is so much colder than imagination could ever know
A ghost ship sails muddied waters over graveyards too dead to cry
An infinity of digital sales tatter loud in the silent pitch and
Gales blow tales of interstellar snow in dirty allies where rats and
Vermin crouch proudly as demons and monsters preaching freedom
Behind bars of calculated statements where premeditated killers
Masquerade as fair navigators while wrecking worlds and plundering
Simple islanders  of homespun treasures and hoarded mounds of pure
Fool's gold, as sirens sing and deckhands bring swords and canons
To shoot at offending stars that twinkle boldly on the face
Of monumental terrors, monstrous mockeries, broken avatars
Skulls$Bones vacuuming power, the captain's tower stumbles forward
Recedes senselessly again a charred and blackened seed swallowed by
Solar sands shift restlessly finding such fare to suit their taste
Somewhere wandering aimlessly amongst the frozen waste,
A ghost ship sails . . .
