A Place So Small
for a place so small
so much to learn while there's time
because sometimes,
people lose their lives
or live inside a lost mind
give it all to a love that is not what they thought
a wish is worth whatever it has bought,
when a cover no one sees is put upon the tabletop
while talismans conjure delusions intent on purposes arcane
turn a blind eye behind your face to see the die a plastered mass
Pass the torch into this howling light was made to sing once
you find someone has locked the keys behind a doorÂ
set into the wall
quite a lot of space
for a place so small
